Beamer Car. It is technically wrong to refer to a “beamer car” (or “beemer car”). The protorqs are their tyres for sports performance, the roadhounds are sport.

It was used to differentiate bmw bikes (beamers) from those of british. North americans initially referred to bmw vehicles as beamers, but after some time, the bimmer monicker gained greater momentum and spread more widely.
